Charleston Leadership Foundation
The Charleston Leadership Foundation (CLF) was founded in 2002 in order to bring together local Christian leaders to minister to the community and change lives.
CLF accomplishes this mission by working through a combination of organizations and initiatives that further the kingdom of Christ in the greater Charleston area with our marquee event being the Annual Charleston Leadeship Prayer Breakfast. The event held annually in the fall was founded in 2002 and attracts over 1200 community leaders each year to attend. We invite a nationally renown speaker to address our audience giving their testimony on how their faith in Jesus Christ has impacted their lives. This event has focused on bringing together all people of different walks of life-black, white, male, female, Republican, Democrat, Independent, and Liberal or Conservative. Fellowship in the name of Jesus does amazing things. It puts political and philosophical differences in a totally different perspective.
The Prayer Breakfast is an evangelism outreach with the goal of bringing more people to Jesus Christ and deepening or re-igniting the faith of existing followers.
We join with others in all of the 50 states sharing similar breakfasts over the year with unity of purpose to pray for our city, county, state and national leaders and seek the Lord’s guidance and strength in the conduct of our personal and public lives.
